Marla Jean Miller

Marla Jean Miller, 84, passed away June 5, 2022 at Mission at Castle Rock Rehabilitation in Green River, Wyoming.

She was born May 23, 1938 in Waitsfield, Vermont; daughter of Clayton Allen Neil and Marion Frances Eurich.

Marla attended schools in New York and was a 1956 Graduate of Newcomb Central High School.

She married Donald O. Miller in Ticonderoga, New York on July 6, 1957.

She worked for Sweetwater County School District #2 for over 20 years until her retirement.

Marla enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching and working at her church.

She was a board member for the Riverton Senior Center, and volunteered for Riverton Memorial Hospital Gift Shop.

Survivors include one son, Walter R. Miller of Riverton, Wyoming; one daughter, Denise M. Phillips and husband Edward of Green River, Wyoming; one brother, Dale Neill and wife Walley of Elizabeth, Colorado; two sisters, Marlene Weston of Warren, Vermont; Linda Harvey and husband Burley of Berlin, Vermont; four grandchildren, Donald Phillips and wife Brenda; Seneca Schultz and husband Alan; Kendra Locker and husband Austin; Kellen Miller; five great-grandchildren, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald O. Miller, one brother, Morris Neill; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Miller; three brothers-in-law, Norris "Fat" Weston; Walter F. Miller; Walter Norris; two nephews, Thomas Weston; Cedric Neill; one niece, Pam Harvey; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Miller and Margaret Norris.

Following Cremation, services will be held at Saint James Episcopal Church in Riverton, Wyoming. Graveside Services and Inurnment will be in Warren Village Cemetery, Warren, Vermont.
