Everetta "Bert" Rose Lee

Ms. Everetta "Bert" Rose Lee, age 76, of Canton Oklahoma., passed away February 4, 2022.

She was born on July 11, 1945 in Rosston, Oklahoma. to the parents of Everett Eugene and Marjorie Rose Kirkhart. She was the second child of nine. She grew up in Oklahoma and Kansas. One of her fondest memories growing up was working as a Car Hop at A&W Root beer in Great Bend. Kansas. I believe this is where she got her desire to serve and help people. Most of her adult life she either worked as a waitress or tended bar. She enjoyed visiting with customers and friends whether it was at the quick stop or Louie's Bypass Bar and Grill.

Bert was an avid NASCAR and Rusty Wallace fan and she had traveled to see several races in person. She was a member of a local NASCAR fantasy group in the Canton area. She enjoyed bowling and traveling to nationals before her knees told her she had to slow down. She enjoyed reading and read her Bible daily. She was a member of the Homestead Bible Church of Okeene, OK and would join in via Facebook while she was in Wyoming.

Bert is survived by her three sons, Wes (Toni) Smith of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Les (Linda) Smith of Florissant, Colorado; Bobby Jack Smith of West Valley, Utah; seven grandchildren, Quinton Smith of Rock Springs; Bailey Smith and fiancé Lucas of Roy, Utah; Zach Smith of Fulton, Missouri; Chelsie (Josh) Oaks of Layton, Utah; Martin (Shelby) Pickle of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tanner Smith of Draper, Utah; Courtney (Jordan) Matthews of West Jordan, Utah; four great-grandchildren, Elly; Kilian; Liam; Ronan; three brothers, Jeff (Debbie) Kirkhart of Plano, Texas; Joe (Cindy) Kirkhart of Statesboro, Georgia; Jay (Irene) Kirkhart of Statesboro, Georgia; four sisters, Vallerie Jones of Waka, Texas; Kara (John) Cartwright of Graham, Washington; Tinker (Kelly) Lanier of Statesboro, Georgia; Sue Mclemore Outhier of Okeene, Oklahoma; as well as several nieces; nephews; many more extended family members and friends.
