Tom Wilson, the former athletics director and industrial arts teacher for the district, was tapped to fill an unexpired term on the Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees.
Wilson was one of three applicants considered by other school board members, the other two being Darren Casey and Brandon Mandros. The board named their selection following a special meeting to interview the three candidates Monday evening.
Wilson replaces Robin Steiss, who resigned from her position last month. The unexpired term ends in November, following the 2022 election.
