Green River Police Department reports for Nov. 16
At 10:58 a.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny on Madison Avenue. Officers met with an individual who reported they purchased items from an individual on Facebook Marketplace and suspected the items to be stolen property. Officers were unable to determine if the items were stolen property and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:54 a.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny at Family Dollar. Officers met with the manager who reported they suspected an individual of attempted shoplifting and would like them trespassed from the store. Officers met with the individual, issued the trespass warning, and completed a report of the incident.
At 3:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a resident causing a disturbance at Mission at Castle Rock Rehabilitation Center and the Villa. Officers met with staff, the individual, and a family member. The individual was turned over to the family member and officers completed a report of the incident.

At 8:19 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute. The parties separated and officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 12:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a missing person. Officers met with an individual concerned for a family member they have not been able to locate. Officers attempted to locate the adult individual and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 3:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny on Jefferson Street. Officers met with an individual who reported items missing from their vehicle. Officers completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 18
At 9:06 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Bridger Drive. Officers met with the individuals causing the disturbance and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:06 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on East Flaming Gorge Way. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:17 a.m., officers responded to a report of an individual causing a disturbance at Maverick. Officers met with store employees who requested to have the individual trespassed from the store. Officers met with the subject, issued the trespass warning, and completed a report of the incident.
At 2:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of found property on Uinta Drive. Officers met with an individual who turned over a found cell phone. Officers attempted to locate an owner, booked the phone in for safekeeping, and completed a report of the incident.
At 6:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on North 5th East Street. It was reported one vehicle was facing east in a parking spot and a second vehicle was parked and unoccupied facing north. As the first vehicle began backing from the parking space the rear driver side bumper struck the passenger side of the second vehicle. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Betty Hodges, 74, of Green River, a citation for alleged improper backing and completed a report of the incident.
At 5:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of found property at the intersection of West 2nd South Street and South 4th West Street. Officers located a hubcap in the roadway, booked it in for safekeeping, and completed a report of the incident.
At 8:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle and deer collision. It was reported the vehicle was traveling south on Uinta Drive when a deer ran into the roadway. As the vehicle swerved to miss the deer the deer hit the mirror on the driver’s side of the vehicle. The deer was ok and took off. No injuries were reported. Officers completed a report of the incident.

At 6:03 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported one vehicle was behind another and both vehicles were traveling west on Flaming Gorge Way. The second vehicle slowed down and the first vehicle attempted to pass and when the first vehicle attempted to merge back into the lane of travel the vehicles collided. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Thomas Eddy, 44, of South Weber, Utah, citations for alleged passing in a no passing zone and driving while suspended. Officers completed a report of the incident.

At 7:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision on North 6th West Street. Officers met with an individual who reported finding damage to their vehicle that had been parked and unoccupied. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 9:39 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing on East Teton Boulevard.
Officers met with an individual who reported another individual as trespassing. Officers met with the individual and completed a report of the incident.
