Although they still haven't achieved their first win of the season, the Green River High School volleyball team put up a fight when they faced Sheridan High School on Sept. 30. The Lady Wolves won two sets but lost after Sheridan won three sets. The scores were 24-26, 20-25, 25-21, 25-22 and 15-11. The Lady Wolves faced another loss on Oct. 2 when Star Valley High School beat them in three sets, with the scores being 25-9, 25-18 and 25-17. Mountain View High School also beat the Lady Wolves in three sets when they faced off in the Green River High School gym on Tuesday. The sets were closer, with the scores ending at 25-14, 25-21 and 25-20. The Lady Wolves will take on Riverton on Friday at 6 p.m. and Cody on Saturday at 1 p.m.
