Swimmers off to a strong start

The Green River High School girls swim team has started their season with multiple wins, taking first place at their home meet and beating Lander in a duel meet last weekend. Green River girls came in first in seven out of nine individual events.

This coming weekend, the swim team will face off against Rock Springs High School before returning home for another Green River Invite.

Last year the team brought home the state championship. This year Coach Colleen Seiloff hopes the girls will continue to work hard to earn their place.

“The way you get there, I think, is just keep working as a team and keep improving individually, so that’s really our goal this year,” Seiloff said.
