Residents and visitors walking along the Viaduct overlooking the Union Pacific rail yard can do so without seeing the tags and images previously spray-painted along its length.
This is due to the work of Eagle Scout Elijah Kropf and Boy Scout Troop 312 giving the Viaduct a new coat of paint last month.
Kropf, a student at Western Wyoming Community College, decided to paint the Viaduct as his Eagle Scout project.
Kropf said he chose the project because of how important the Viaduct is to Green River’s residents.
“The city needed me to do it,” he said.
