Annual Kid's Day at the fair set for Aug. 3

Aug. 4 will be Kid’s Day at Wyoming’s Big Show.

Entertainment will be available throughout the day for children of all ages to enjoy. Lanky the Clown and Pirate Man Dan will be strolling the grounds and will be sure to make people laugh. Hypnotist Michael Swenson and the Zuma Zuma Acrobats will havemultiple shows throughout the day to amaze audiences. Wild Science! has many interactive zones to get your child interested in science.

For children who love animals, they won’t want to miss shows by Wildlife Wendy with her tropical birds or Reptile Adventures featuring snakes and more. Kids can stop by the petting zoo to pet and feed cute animals plus ride a pony.

4-H and FFA will also have a Swine Show and Sheep, Goat, and Wool Judging on Wednesday.

Local organizations will have booths and giveaways with items specifically for kids. Local law enforcement and ambulance services will be giving away bike safety items and have service dogs for kids to meet.

Brown’s Amusements will once again be bringing the carnival to the Sweetwater County Fair in 2021 as well.

One of the best carnivals in the nation, Brown’s Amusements achieved the OABA’s (Outdoor Amusement Business Association) Circle of Excellence Award for Safety in 2007, 2010, and 2015 through 2019.

This award is based upon their ability to excel in the areas of safety, service, operations, and administrative duties.

They are inspected by a team of independent consultants for the OABA who review all their eternal operational books, safety records and daily operations over two days. Brown’s Amusements thoroughly inspects every ride at each event and puts a lot of time into training their staff.

They have a comprehensive employee-training program, which ensures their employees are properly trained and educated. Their attention to detail has helped build their impressive reputation amongst their peers.

Brown’s Amusements will be at the fair from Aug. 3-7.
