Lilly Munoz swims the breaststroke during the last chance meet at the Green River High School Aquatics Center Thursday. Munoz joins 16 other swimmers in going to the State meet this week.
Members of the Green River High School Girls Swimming and Diving team had their final chance to qualify for state Thursday evening during the last chance meet the team hosted.
Head coach Colleen Seiloff said no one qualified at the meet, which means 17 ladies will be sent to Laramie to compete at the State swim meet. She said a few of the girls were close to hitting their needed times, but were unable to break through those times. Seiloff said many swimmers qualified in multiple events, which she said gives her a chance to shift swimmers around to better position the team to score points....
