Tyson (Tyky) Kent Collier, age 70 of Glenrock, Wyoming passed away Friday, Oct 9, 2020 in Denver, Colorado.
He was born June 30, 1950 in Green River, Wyoming the son of Kenneth and Eva(Gold) Collier.
He attended elementary school in Green River before his family moved to Denver, Colorado. There he attended Denver North High School.
He was drafted into the United States Army in 1970. He served as a medic in Vietnam War and was stationed at the Third Field Hospital in Saigon from 1971 to 1972.
He married Sherry Rowan February 19, 1977 in Denver, Colorado.
Tyson is survived by his wife Sherry, son Ryan (Misty) Collier of Glenrock, Wyoming and their children Brysen, Alyssa and Corey and one daughter, Sabrina (Evie Gomez) of Westminster, Colorado and their three sons Evie Jr. Jeremiah, and Antonio. He is also survived by three sisters, Karen Collier Vizina of Baraga, Mi, Lynn Collier Birdsall ( Jeff Birdsall ) of League City, Texas, and Carroll Collier Jones ( Carl Lee Jones) of Denver Colorado. He is also survived by one uncle, Roger Gold (Gerry) of Roseville, California, two aunts, JoAnn Wyant of Green River, Wyoming and Irene Weik of Rock Springs, Wyoming and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth (Sonny) Collier Jr, and one sister, Ami (Dale) Erdmann, uncles Herman Gold, George (William) Gold, and aunt Helen Gomez.
Military Services were held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
