School's Veterans Day activities canceled

The long-running Veteran’s Day program hosted by Lincoln Middle School will not happen this year.
Lori Hastert, the sixth-grade teacher at Lincoln Middle School, said the school decided not to host the event due to concerns with hosting a COVID-19 spreader event amongst students and veterans.
“The veterans mean the world to us, but they need their health,” Hastert said. “Right now, we just can’t do this.”
She said the cancelation extends to the signs placed along Uinta Drive because they weren’t able to adhere with social distancing and sanitation recommendations. Hastert said...
