Summer meal program extended through June 2021

A program providing meals to Green River’s children has been extended to June 30, 2021.

According to a release from Sweetwater County School District No. 2, the food service program was granted meal flexibility to allow students to receive meals under its Summer Food Program through the end of 2020. The program was originally set to end Dec. 31, 2020.

“We will have breakfast and lunch available for pick up at Lincoln Middle School Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., each day that school is in session,” Leah Kenison, director of nutrition services, said in the release.
