Airport work starts

The Wyoming National Guard began their summer training on Saturday at The Greater Green River Intergalactic Space Port.

According to a press release, 34 soldiers started working on leveling out the dirt airstrip as well as adding drainage. This guard unit, when sent overseas, will be building airstrips much like this one.

The guard will be located at the airport until August 17. In an earlier press release it was discussed that the guard’s training would last from the 7-21, however it was later decided that the training could be completed in nine days.
