The shooting death of an unidentified woman is under investigation by the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office.
The office issued a statement saying the incident occurred Monday evening at a residence off of Steamboat Drive in the Clearview Acres area east of Rock Springs. Deputies were at the scene as of Tuesday morning and an investigation is ongoing.
The sheriff’s office did not release further information as of press time.
