Second COVID-19 patient admitted

A second person was hospitalized last week after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, a Green River woman in her 40s was admitted to the hospital’s emergency room May 5 and was tested using a fast-acting COVID-19 test. She was discharged the following day.

“We are saddened that we have another person hospitalized with this virus,” Kim White, MHSC Incident Commander, said.

On Monday, a 13th positive confirmation was announced. The man, a resident of Rock Springs in his 20s, self isolates at home and is connected to the 11th confirmed case,...
