A Green River attorney working in the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office received a public censure from the Wyoming Supreme Court after misleading investigators about a female sex offender’s place of residence.
John DeLeon received his censure last week for violating Wyoming Rules of Professional Conduct. Specifically, he violated Rule 8.4(c) for conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation and Rule 8.4(d) for conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice.
