Leona “Bebe” Dallmann, 52, passed away suddenly Oct. 13, 2019, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Leona was born in Espanola, N.M., May 22, 1967, to the late Manuel S. Arellano and Maria Arellano. Leona was raised in Gallina, N.M. and later moved to Green River. Leona attended schools in Gallina, N.M. and Green River. She was a homemaker for most of her adult life. She enjoyed working with children as a teacher’s assistant for many years.
Leona married Joseph C. Dallmann Feb. 14, 1990, in Tucson, Ariz. They lived in Green River and Hanna. Later on moving to Castle Rock, Colo., and then on to Rio Rancho, N.M., where she lived since 2005.
Leona was a mother of two beautiful children, Amanda and Cristopher “Topher” Dallmann.
Leona is survived by her husband, Joe and one daughter, Amanda and unborn grandbaby, her mother, Maria Arellano, brothers, Robert (Angelita), Mike (Teresa), Chris (Denise), Raymond (Corina), Floyd, Manuel; two sisters, Susie (Daniel) Shellman, and Karen (Raul) Munoz, in laws, Vikki (Jesse) Flores, Linda Prince, Cindy (Jerry) Grandpre, Dara (Leonard) Bobbitt, Keith Dallmann, Ken (Pam) Dallmann. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Arellano, brother, Salvador Arellano, son, Cristopher “Topher,” in-laws, John and Flo Dallmann, Gary Dallmann, Darryl Prince; her grandparents, and various aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers were Mike Arellano, Robert Arellano, Chris Arellano, Floyd Arellano, Manuel Arellano and Raymond Arellano.
Services took place Oct. 17, 2019, at Daniels Family Funeral Services in Sara Chapel. Rio Rancho, N.M. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, next to her son.
