Bernice Mary Vigil, 90, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at the home of her daughter in Vernal, Utah, surrounded by her loving family. A resident of Green River since 1943 and former resident of Longmont, Colo., Vigil died following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Longmont Colo., the daughter of Faustin J. Gutierrez and Justa Quintana.
Vigil attended schools in Green River and was a graduate of Green River High School with the class of 1947.
She married Ross Vigil Oct. 25, 1948, in Green River, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2006.
