Main Street grant approved

A Wyoming Business Council grant to pay for a feasibility study regarding a second grocery store in Green River was approved by the Green River City Council Tuesday night.

The grant amounts to $8,080 and will pay for a study to investigate the possible locations and development of a grocery store downtown. The store under consideration is Wild Sage Market, a natural foods co-op seeking to establish a physical store in Green River. Wild Sage Market will provide the $2,020 in matching funds for the study. The city won’t provide funding for the grant.
