Candidates file for boards

Eight candidates have filed to seek election to the Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees.

Three positions are up for election with incumbents John Malone and Robin Steiss seeking re-election. Joining Malone and Steiss in the race are Don Adams, Rachelle Morris, Elonna Owens, Daniel Stanton, Ashley Castillon and David Munoz. Board member Ann Rudoff announced she would not be seeking re-election.

For Western Wyoming Community College’s board of trustees, three candidates have filed for election. Green River resident Suzan Campbell will join Rock Springs residents Kenneth Lorimer and Greg Erramouspe on the ballot.

George Eckman is the sole candidate for the Sweetwater County School District No. 2 representative for the WWCC board.

In the race for the Sweetwater County Conservation District’s rural trustee, incumbent Mary Thoman will face Michelle Irwin for the position. In a race for the urban trustee position, three Rock Springs residents are seeking election. Incumbent Jean Dickinson, Tom Gagnon and Thor Stephenson Sr. will seek election.

In the race for the district’s at-large trustee position will be between Green River residents incumbent Henry Bliss IV and Joshua Coursey and Rock Springs resident Kenilynn Zanetti.

For the Castle Rock Hospital District Board of Trustees, only incumbents have filed for re-election. Sandee Gunter, Patsy Sorensen and Daniel Stanton have filed for the three available positions.

In the Jamestown Water and Sewer District, Gay Collar, Kael Jasperson and Robert Hermann have filed for election.

Delbert Poll is the only candidate who filed for the water and sewer district’s unexpired two-year term.
