Farmers market begins

A familiar sight on Roosevelt Drive returned to Green River last week.

The Green River Farmers Market started its weekly visit last Wednesday. The markets take place every Wednesday from 4 -7 p.m.

According to Jennie Melvin, administrator for the Green River URA/Main Street organization, said many of the same vendors residents have enjoyed shopping from plan to return this year.

The URA/Main Street organization will sell Beehive Cheese to raise funds for its facade improvement program and other favorites such as Styria Bakery from Colorado and Grace Pastures.
