Residents seeking something to do this summer have a new festival to enjoy in July.
The Muley Fanatic Foundation, a conservation group based in Green River, will host its inaugural Mansface Mountain Music Festival at Expedition Island July 13 and 14. The festival, focusing on bluegrass music, is something the foundation hopes to grow into an annual event, according to Chris Steffen, director of operations for the foundation.
Speaking to the Green River City Council last week, Steffen said the festival will feature local and regional performers, as well as nationally-known bluegrass musicians....
