Senior sewing class starts new project

Focusing on new humanitarian projects is something the sewing group at the Golden Hour Senior Center makes a priority.

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., including a break for lunch, the sewing group meets at the GHSC. The group varies from week to week. Some enjoy coming in the morning, while others prefer the afternoon. Regardless of what time they come in, they are ready to create items for others. The items they sew for others have been come to be known as their humanitarian projects.
