Donnie Rockwell Jr.

Donnie Rockwell Jr., 58, passed away Feb. 2, 2018, at his home in Green River. He was a resident of Wyoming for the past 37 years and was a former resident of Virginia.

Rockwell was born April 16, 1959, in Tampa, Fla., the son of Donald George Rockwell Sr. and Phyllis Louise Rion.

He attended schools in Virginia and went to carpentry trade school for two years. Rockwell married Lori Batey June 10, 1983, in Rock Springs. He owned and operated Don's Plumbing Plus for three years.

Rockwell worked for several construction companies, and was a cement truck driver for 15 years.

Rockwell enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and metal detecting.

Survivors include one son, Trey Rockwell of Green River; three daughters, Tara Dawn Robinson and husband Bill of Green River, Tonya Rae Rockwell of Green River and Tasha Rockwell and fiancé Josh Mace of Green River; one brother, Terry S. Rockwell of California; five sisters, Donna York of California, Eileen Birosh of Golden, Colo., Patricia Rockwell-Lesser of Golden, Colo., Karla Christenson of Green River and Barbara Zimblis of New York; ten grandchildren, Ashton Robinson, Koby Robinson, Keira Robinson, Caitlynn Parker, Shaleena Mahana, Kylee Mahana, Pergrin Barney, Jaedyn Barney, Willow Mace, Ciara Rockwell, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins including Clayton Rockwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jaeson Lee Bartlett; one sister, Janice Child; and one granddaughter Michalyn Robinson.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
