Charlene Rollins Logan

Charlene Rollins Logan, 82, passed away Dec. 3, 2017, in Salt Lake City.

Charlene was born in Ogden, Utah, Nov. 10, 1935, to Rodney Wayne Rollins and Lillian Mary Rollins. She was the oldest of four children.

Charlene married her high school sweetheart James Logan July 2, 1955, in Green River. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 22, 1962.

Charlene and Jim lived in Green River, Denver, as well as in Roy, Utah, and Layton Utah. During their 62 years of marriage, they had five children: Bruce (Pam) Logan; Wendy (Reese) Meadows; K.C. (Sandy) Logan; Rod Logan; Jill (Jeremy) Hobbs.

Charlene was a member of the LDS church and served in numerous capacities. She loved her involvement with the Utah Daughters of the Pioneers. Charlene had a great artistic ability and shared her talents with many. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, making porcelain dolls, oil painting, Christmas baking and decorating. Her children and grandchildren cherish many of the gifts she made. Family came first for Charlene. She loved spending time watching her children and grandchildren in their various sports, dance and music activities.

Charlene is survived by her husband, five children, sister LeeAnn Ringdahl Welsted (Tom), brother Russ Rollins (Ginny), 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Sonja Nilson Alt.

Funeral services took place Saturday.
