With the warm, partly cloudy skies lately, the Green River Splash Park has been filled with children.
Almost every day, the Splash Park is filled with children running through the various water features, including the fire hydrant, the mushroom, the frog and the buckets.
While the children ran through the various features laughing and screaming, parents and grandparents sat on blankets or folding chairs and watched them.
Some of the parents were visiting with friends, while others were entertaining their younger children.
"It's something fun for the kids to do during the summer," parent Skyler Trujillo said.
Her daughter, Kelsie, 4, was one of the children having a great time running through the splash park.
Kelsie said her favorite part is splashing.
"I like them all," Kelsie said.
Skyler said they are regulars at the splash park and it's not uncommon for them to go at least once a week.
She said they go quite a bit.
Whether those at the splash park are regulars or those who come every so often, the outcome is always the same -- the kids have fun.
Maxen Richins, another four-year-old, said he likes all of the parks, but he his favorite part is the choo choo train that is located near the splash park.
The splash park usually remains open until right after Labor Day weekend.
Even though it's only open in the summer, it is probably the most visited park.
