David Lorin Frint

David Lorin Frint, 60, of Green River, passed away April 27, 2017, after a sudden illness.

He was born Nov. 29, 1956, in Rock Springs, the son of William Raman Frint and Ann-Marie Gustavsson Frint. He attended schools in Green River and Connecticut, graduating from Staples High School in West Port, Conn., with the class of 1975.  He received his associates degree from Utah Tech in Salt Lake City.

David married Marcene Hale in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 26, 1988. He had been employed for Solvay Chemicals as a surface production operator for 35 years.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He had served as second counselor in the bishopric, webelos leader, young men's second counselor, scoutmaster, and assistant high priest group leader.  He also served a LDS mission to California.

David was an avid collector of Star Wars, Hot Wheels, and Legos toys. He had an interest in model airplanes, old cars and trucks. He enjoyed camping, boating and trips to Disney World. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Marcene Frint of Green River; two sons, Christopher Frint (Jessica) of Cheyenne and Jeremy Frint (Kelsie) of Bellevue, Idaho; two daughters Tara Flom (Daniel) of Green River, and Karen Robertson (Cory) of Rock Springs; brother W. Roger of Green River; sister Mary Schofield of Mesquite, Nev .; six grandchildren Ethaney, Ethan, Evelynn, Genevieve, and Annalee Frint, and Wayne Flom; several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ann-Marie Gustavsson Frint.

Funeral services will take place 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Green River LDS Stake Center in Green River. Friends may call Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.

Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery.
