He is also survived by three sisters, Angela and spouse Scott Hoover, Lisa Iribarren, Michelle and spouse Roberto Aquilar, and several special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph Frank and son John Michael.

John hired out to Stauffer Chemical (now Ciner) when he was 18 years old and worked there until his retirement in 2011. He then moved to his current home in Apple Valley. John loved fishing, hunting, camping, and the great outdoors. But even more he loved his family. He was a wonderful husband and father, and good neighbor and friend.

The Mass of Celebration took place Sept. 28 at the Catholic Church in St. George, Utah.

Friends and family are invited to share condolences online at Arrangements and memorial tree planting by Serenity Funeral Home of Southern Utah.
