A Celebration of Life for Linda Irene Haselhuhn will take place Oct. 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Green River. Haselhuhn passed away July 18, 2016.

She had one older brother, Cecil Hasley; a younger sister, Ruth Ann Keggs, infant daughter Ronda Jo Draper, mother Vivian Marie and Stepfather Fred Beaulieu, father Dallas "Red" Hasley, and many other friends and family members who passed before her.

Her youngest brother Fred lives in Michigan.

She lived in many places throughout her lifetime. Born in Missouri, she moved to Michigan with her mother and graduated from high school in Flint, Mich., and married her first husband Marvin Draper.

Together they brought into this world Dottie, Marvin, Paul, and Dawn, the marriage ended in divorce and she gave birth to one daughter Ronda Jo July, 18, 1971. Ronda Jo only lived 23 hours she contracted bronchitis right after she was born. Haselhuhn was also being treated for bronchitis when her heart stopped on what would have been Ronda Jo's 45th birthday. She married Roy Haselhuhn Dec. 2, 1972 and together they brought John and Becky into this world.

The family moved to southern Indiana for a few years and in 1979 the family made the move to Green River. She loved the mountains and even though we moved around a few times always came back.

She was known and loved by many, she gave birth to seven children and many more called her mom.

In her young adult years she enjoyed bowling and won many trophies. She was a Girl Scout leader for all three of her daughters and made our scout years memorable.

Later, Haselhuhn gave up bowling for pool and played VNEA for many years again as always she was good at what she did and won many trophies. She had many friends she loved dearly, including her sister of the heart, Helen.

She loved to get her family together for holidays and birthdays, she was famous for her potato salad and cakes, she made many wedding cakes including her own for her second wedding.

Twenty-four grandchildren came into her life: James, Steven, Matthew, and Crystal Fletcher from Dottie, as well as Jennifer and Katie when she married Mark Lacquement. Ashley and Alex from Marvin Jr. and Lisa Draper, Paul Jr., Trisha, Sarah, Kayliee from Paul. Bradly, Tenesha, and Trevor from Dawn, who is married to Allen Tuttle. Knesha, Kay Ann, Jessi Dawn and AJ from John. Josh, Austin, and Harley Jo from Becky and Tiffany and Levi with her husband Earl Jones.

She also had more than 34 great-grandchildren: Jade, Teal, Holly, Jordan, Andy, Marissa, Caleb, Alexis, Tyler, Davina, Neveya, Damien, Sierra, Ivy Lynn, Violet, Ashten, Declan, Jeremy, Braxton, Dakota, Rianna., Kahili, Alexia, Devin, Alivia, Zefene, Xzavier, Gabriel, Christopher, Rose, Lily, Cole, MaeMae and Echo.
