Mabel Ann "Annie" Kendrick

Mabel Ann "Annie" Kendrick, 59, of Rock Springs, passed away March 3, 2016 at her home. A longtime resident of Rock Springs, Kendrick died following a battle with cancer.  

She was born on Nov. 27, 1956 in Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Deloris Bonaime Wirtz. Kendrick attended schools in Neche, N.D.

She married Richard Kendrick in Rock Springs, Aug. 2, 1990. Kendrick was employed at Walmart as a cashier for six years.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Community. 

Her interests were riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles with her husband, camping, snow machining, helping people, cooking with her mother, shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Rick Kendrick of Rock Springs; mother Deloris Milender of Rock Springs; son Allen Brooks and wife Brandy of Wyatt, West Virginia; two daughters, Tammy Burris and husband Doug of New Castle, Colo., and Dee Hepker and husband Delroy Lee of Rock Springs; brother Alvin Wirtz of Rock Springs; two sisters, Sylvia Kalas of Waihalla, N.D. and Jeanette Phelps and husband Mike of Cheyenne; eleven grandchildren, Kim, Cory, Brandy, Dakota, Dylan, Shannon, Debbie, Afton, Raven, Tesha, Hunter; five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Chantel, Aubrey Xander; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by one brother Lester Wirtz, grandson Dyllon Byrne and her father-in-law Henry Kendrick. 

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday.
