Deborah Leona (Hughes) Rundell

Deborah Leona (Hughes) Rundell, 59, of Rock Springs, passed away Aug. 20, 2015 at her home.  A longtime resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Green River and Walden, Colo., Rundell died following a battle with cancer for the past seven months.

She was born on July 16, 1956 in Walden, Colo., the daughter of late John L. Hughes and Shirley R. Moran Hughes.

Rundell attended schools in Walden, Colo., and graduated from North Park High School with the class of 1974. She later attended Western Wyoming Community College and received an associates degree.

She had been employed as an accountant at FMC and Tronox since Sept.27, 1993.  

Her interests included hiking, camping and enlightening the light and love of others.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Ryan Rundell and wife Rose of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Elijah Rundell and wife Joanne of Green River; brother Ronald Hughes of Grand Junction, Colo .; sister JoAnn Sauvage of Grand Junction, Colo .; her significant other Tony Angelovic of Pinedale; four grandchildren, Aspen, Akyra, Jayden and Caley Ann; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gerald Hughes and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted Saturday at the Hampton Inn, 1055 Wild Horse Canyon Road, Green River.
