Students, teachers return to high school

Like the falling of the leaves, cooler temperatures and longer evenings, the first day of school is one of those signs that summer is coming to an end.

Today, students in Green River started their first day of classes and like students throughout the city, those attending Green River High School were both anxious and excited for the upcoming year.

Bailee Roberts, a freshman, said she feels both emotions as the school year starts. Her nervousness stems from transitioning into a larger school, but looks forward to performing with the high school dance team.
