Fourteenth annual International Day events set for Saturday

Rock Springs, the Home of 56 Nationalities, is hosting its 14th annual International Day Saturday.

International Day is an event that celebrates the many different cultures that are present in the area.

The event features a wide range of entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.

There will be local, regional and international entertainment. There will also be a variety of exotic foods to try, festive costumes, exhibits and live entertainment. The festival will have over 20 imported beers from around the world to try. The festival is unique and is the only event of its kind in Wyoming.

The festival runs from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Bunning Park.

Starting the day off will be a Kiwanis pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. Then at 10 a.m. the live entertainment will begin.

The live entertainers will be Rock Springs native, Dave Pedri and the ElO Band, the OPA Greek Dancers and Mariachi Zavala playing Mexican Mariachi music.

Also, James Bilagody and the Wyoming Little Feathers, Polish Folk Dancers Krakowiacy, and Tony Corona will be performing throughout the day with his accordion.

At 8 p.m. Imagine, a Beatles Tribute band will play.
