Letter: America has its own holocaust

Dear Editor,

Genocide is taking place, even now, as you read this letter!

It is happening right here in our own country. Not just in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

I recently saw the most brutal and shocking photos I have ever seen. These pictures were graphic and obscene in a gruesome way. I saw a photo of perfect little babies piled in a trashcan, awaiting to be taken out with the evening garbage. Babies belong in cribs wit giraffes and monkeys on their sheets, not a trashcan!

I know there are two sides to this issue. Pro-life and pro-choice for the mother but not so much for the dead babies in the trashcan. As you have rightly supposed, I am pro-life, shouldn’t we all be?

We as Americans protect the eagles, the whales, the owls, and the prairie sage chickens. How much more should we protect the most precious and weak among us, the human baby!

We are allowing genocide to take place in our country. Webster’s Dictionary defines genocide as: “the deliberate, systematic destruction of a racial, political or cultural group.”

If you dare, do an online search for “pictures of aborted babies.” You will see for yourself the shocking reality of our choices. When I looked for myself, I cried a lot. Then I got mat. First at myself, for not speaking or acting sooner.

Pro-choice advocates will label this carnage with flowery words. Words like “abortion,” “fetal extraction,” “dismemberment,” and “planned parenthood.” How can someone be a parent to a dead baby? These words only mask the truth of what is actually happening. The end result is a dead baby. I am using these graphic words on purpose, I am a truth talker. This issue is like dirt under our beds. If we don’t see it, we don’t worry about it!

I have dear friends that have had abortions. My intention is not to condemn and judge, but to awaken us to the sad and tragic result of “political correctness.”

I am using my voice to advocate for LIFE! These babies in the trashcan will never have a chance to be heard. They have been silenced. Will you stand with me to advocate for these beautiful little babies?

How can we be silent? As we see and know that the destruction of a generation is taking place.

Send this letter and a photo from the online search to your state legislators. Hold them accountable with your vote. Hold yourself accountable with your conscience, your tears and your anger. Anger is a good thing with it is controlled and targeted. We as a people, can change the destiny and legacy of this nation. We have before.
