Finance director resigns

After nearly 14 years with the City of Green River, Finance Director Jeff Nieters is saying goodbye.

His last day will be June 2.

Nieters said he plans to move to Cheyenne to join his wife, who was recently hired as a nurse at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He said he aims to find a job in the nonprofit sector as well.

"I really like Green River, but my job here is done and it's time to move on," Nieters said.
