Randall Ernest Osier


Randall Ernest Osier, 66, of Rock Springs passed away at his home April 2, 2015. A resident of Rock Springs since 2000 and former resident of Elko, Nev., Osier passed away following a brief illness.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1948 in Butte, Mont., the son of  Ernest Osier and Delores Ibson Osier.

Osier attended schools in Butte, Mont. and graduated from Butte High School with the class of 1966.

He married Dina Wise in Elko, Nev. on Jan. 21, 1998.

Osier served in the United States Army.

He worked as the manager of Wyoming Casing until his retirement in March of 2015.

Osier was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. #151, American Legion Archie Hay Post 24 and the American Riders Club.

He enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Delores Osier of Butte, Mont.; wife Dina Osier of Rock Springs; two sons, Chad Osier and wife Kaycie of Cheyenne and Jeremy Epps and wife Farah of Cheyenne; five daughters, Tracie Cross of Rock Springs, Melissa Beckstead of Rock Springs, Crystal Peel and husband Tony of Green River, Melissa Goff of Rock Springs, and Ashley Osier of Liberal, Kan.; one sister, Linda Lubick and husband Tom of Butte, Mont.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
