Susan Ann Fletcher

Susan Ann Fletcher, 78, of Green River passed away March 10, 2015 in Provo, Utah.

A resident of Green River for the past eight years and former resident of Skandia, Mich., Fletcher passed away following a brief illness.

She was born on May 7, 1936 in Marquette, Mich., the daughter of the late George McMaster and Hilda Turri.

Fletcher attended schools in Scandia, Mich.

She married Donald James Fletcher in Marquette, Mich. in 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1968.

Fletcher worked as a cook and meat cutter.

Her interests included gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and dogs.

Survivors include one son, Paul Fletcher and wife Erma of California; three daughters, Julia Tousignant and husband Dennis of Negaunee, Mich., Karla Duvall and husband Robert of Green River, and Karen Bailey and companion Richard Toleman of Green River; one brother, Jim McMaster of Skandia, Mich .; one sister, Nancy Matthews of Marquette, Mich .; 10 grandchildren;  seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; as well as her dogs Otto, Totto and Norman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Donald "Brownie" Fletcher, two sisters Helen and Alice,  two brothers George and John and one sister-in-law Jeanne Fletcher.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be conducted in Michigan.

The time, date and place will be announced at a later date.
