Snowstorm hits city


While spring-like weather has been the norm in Green River for the past several weeks, March came to the city like a lion and dumped several inches of snow on the city.

According to reports from the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network, 4.5 inches of new snow was reported to have fallen in Green River during the past few days. The community, known as CoCoRaHS, is a network of volunteers who measure precipitation through North America.
