Richard Dale Brice

Richard Dale Brice, 70, of Green River passed away Oct. 19 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

A longtime resident of Green River and former resident of Louisiana, Brice passed away suddenly.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1944 in Baton Rouge, La., the son of Thomas B. Brice and Edith Persick.

Brice attended schools in Biloxi, Miss.

He married Mary L. Brice in February of 1964 in Baton Rouge, La. and she preceded him in death.

Brice worked as a surface operator for FMC Corporation for 30 years until his retirement in 2005.

His interests included carpentry work, woodworking, hunting, fishing, gemology, being a good husband and father to his family.

Survivors include his mother Edith Morgan of Baton Rouge, La .; two sons, Rich Brice, Jr. and wife Rebecca and Clint Brice and wife Korinne, both of Green River; one daughter, Debbie Plummer of Rock Springs; four brothers, Tommy Brice of Pride, La., Jim Morgan of Baton Rouge, La., John Morgan of Baton Rouge, La. and Joe Morgan of Baton Rouge, La .; eleven grandchildren, Michaela, Dalton, Colton, Chad, Andrew, Ashlee, Constance, Ashton, Sydney, Moriah and Taryn; one great-grandchild LaQuan Dakota Brice and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lee Brice, one grandson Colton Brice, father Thomas Brice, step-father Talmage Morgan; uncle Allen Persick and grandfather Paw-Paw Persick.
