Jackie Dale Beasley

Jackie Dale Beasley, 65, of Thornton, Colo. passed away at the North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, Colo.. Beasley was a longtime resident of Green River and former resident of Springfield, Mo.

Beasley was born on April 14, 1949 in Salem, Mo., the son of the late Charlie E. Beasley and Wanda P. Dean.

He married Harriett Kathleen Durrant in Green River on May 16, 1981.

Beasley served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict.

He worked as an underground supervisor for OCI for 35 years.

His interests included competing at rodeos, riding horses, fishing and rock hunting. He also enjoyed getting out of town for vacations and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife Harriett Kathleen Beasley of Thornton, Colo., one daughter, Sara Kathleen Beasley of Thornton, Colo .; one sister, Marti Shapland of Sherwood, Ore. and one grandson, Ivan Jack Claxton, and one nephew, Mark Hoagland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jack James Beasley.

A celebration of life with military honors will take place 1 p.m., Sept. 19 at Vase Flaming Gorge Chapel in Green River. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
