With the holiday season underway, may residents may have thoughts of gifts and family gatherings on their minds. Earlier this month, the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office issued a warning about a scam that targeted seniors, misleading them into believing their grandchild was facing legal trouble and needed money to pay for bail and attorney fees. Those running the scam, which the sheriff’s office said are associated with a phone num...

Mud, dirt, sand, snow, rock, and ice. Wait a week and the outdoor conditions will change. Trail riding is one of my favorite things to do, and the trails around Green River have hundreds of miles and places to ride. With an ORV sticker, and license plate I can drive just about anywhere. There are trails, and two-tracker roads for any level of ability of riding. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Pilot Butte, the ice caves, and natural horse corral. Green River’s hometow...

The answer: audiobooks. I didn’t really listen to audiobooks prior to working at the library. After starting here in January, however, I started...
