    Western Wyoming Community College art student, Mae Sota, had her artwork was chosen to be wrapped on an electrical box in Bunning Park, in Downtown Rock Springs. Western is proud of students who are able to give back to their community. The Rock Springs Box Art committee and the Rock Springs International Day committee selected Sota’s “Japanese Culture” piece of art to be wrapped on a Rocky Mountain Power box in Bunning Park.     Many of Western Wyoming Community College’s students transfer to the University of Wyoming (UW) or other four-year institutions after graduation. For the past five years, Western has had a “two-plus-two” transfer agreement with academic departments at the University of Wyoming.     The Wyoming State Museum’s traveling exhibit, Suffrage Wyoming, will be on display at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs from December 1st through May 31st, 2021.
