Green River Police Department reports for July 30
At 10:46 a.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had hit a deer. Officers met with the driver, observed the damage to the vehicle, and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:37 a.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run.
At 12:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.
At 5:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
At 6:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.
At 8:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision. Officers met with the driver who advised they had struck a light pole in the parking lot causing it to fall over. Officers issued the driver, Rikki Shantz, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash and completed a report of the incident.

At 9:41 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Betsy Gatley, a citation for alleged expired temporary license permit/improper registration.

At 8:16 a.m., officers responded to Probation and Parole for a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Derek Aragon under arrest per the warrant, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 12:23 a.m., officers responded to a report of a possible drunk driver and a hit and run in the area of MM92 on I-80 westbound. Officers located the vehicle and observed damage consistent with the reported hit and run damage. Officers met with the driver, Quentin Johler, determined him to be under the influence, and placed him under arrest for alleged DWUI - alcohol - incapable of safely driving and hit and run - unattended property. Officers transported Johler to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 10:11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a dog at large and issued the owner, Karen Marin Vargas, a citation for alleged animal at large.
At 12:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of a scam.
At 2:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.
At 3:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.
At 9:03 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged when headlamps required violation.
At 9:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 11:26 p.m., officers responded to a REDDI report in the area of Maverik. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop where the driver, Odalys Quinonez, was found to be impaired and placed under arrest for alleged DWUI - alcohol - .08 or greater. Officers transported her to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, issued citations for alleged DWUI - alcohol - .08 or greater and speed - generally, and completed a report of the incident.

At 12:49 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged when tail lights required violation.
At 11:34 a.m., officers responded to a report of a violation of a court order.
