Dallan Rosene practices for Indoor Track at the Green River High School on Thursday. The athletes were practicing in the hall due to limited space before their first meet. There is no designated space for the sport so they also get to practice in the gym, if it is open.

On Saturday, Green River traveled north to Natrona County High School in Casper for the first Indoor Track meet of the season.

Other teams also attending the Natrona Invite included Burns/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Cody, Douglas, Elite Solutions Academy (Casper), Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Lander, Lovell, Natrona County, Pinedale, Powell, Riverton, Rock Springs, Torrington, Western Heritage Lutheran Academy and Worland.

Head Track Coach Dan Hansen reported that Natrona did not have any internet for their meet so it was all hand-held times and paper copies. No results have been posted to date.

Hansen did comment that he thought the athletes performed well for their first meet.

The Wolves will travel to Provo, Utah, for the BYU High School Indoor Invitational meet at Smith Fieldhouse on Friday. They will compete in the two mile event and all the field events against Evanston, Mountain View and Star Valley.
