Green River Police Department reports for July 16

At 12:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute, gathered information, issued a trespass warning at the request of the property owner, and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 2:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of disturbance. Officers attempted to make contact at the residence, did not hear any noise coming from inside, then completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 7:24 p.m., officers responded to a report of a weapons offense on Evans Street. Officers met with an individual who reported they had been threatened by a neighbor. Officers met with the individual and located a firearm and suspected marijuana. Officers gathered information; issued a citation for alleged unlawful possession - plant form < 3 oz; confiscated the firearm and suspected marijuana; then completed a report of the incident.

At 8:43 p.m., officers responded to a report of a welfare check on some animals on Iowa Avenue. Officers met with an individual who reported several dogs were possibly being locked inside a residence while the tenants were out of town. Officers made contact with the property owner and attempted to make contact with the dog owners. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident, which was forwarded to animal control.

July 17

At 1:19 a.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny on Cumorah Way. Officers met with an individual who reported an individual failed to pay their cab fare. Officers gathered information, attempted to contact the individual, and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in a dispute, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 5:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with active warrants. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the warrants, and placed Carl Hudson, of Green River, under arrest per the active warrants. Officers transported Hudson to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 6:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of a barking dog complaint on Anvil Drive. Officers met with the owner of the dogs, advised of the complaint, and completed a report of the incident. 

At 7:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision on Arizona Street. Officers met with an individual who reported finding damage to their vehicle, which had been parked and unoccupied facing east along the eastbound lane. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

July 18

At 7:54 a.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism on Idaho Street. Officers met with an individual who reported spray paint on the sidewalk and a concrete wall. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:36 p.m., officers responded to an agency assist with Wyoming Highway Patrol for a high speed chase on Interstate 80. Officers deployed spike strips and assisted in the apprehension of the individual. The individual was turned over to the WHP and officers completed a report of the incident.

July 19

At 9:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Mississippi Street. Officers met with individuals involved in a verbal dispute. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident. 

At 9:24 a.m., officers responded to an agency assist at Illinois Court. Officers assisted with an arrest and completed a report of the incident.

At 2:11 p.m., officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Uinta Drive and East Flaming Gorge Way. It was reported a motorcycle was traveling northwest navigating the curve of the road onto the Uinta Drive overpass when the vehicle passed over a substance on the roadway and the driver lost control of the vehicle. EMS responded. No transports were made. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 7:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on Crossbow Drive. Officers met with an individual who reported they found several things inside their residence disturbed and broken. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.  

At 9:41 p.m., officers responded to a juvenile runaway. Officers met with an individual who reported the juvenile had left the residence without permission. Officers attempted to locate the juvenile, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

July 20

At 10:25 a.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism on Hitching Post Drive. Officers met with an individual who reported damage to a construction machine. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 2:22 p.m., officers responded to a report at the Probation and Parole Office of an individual with an active arrest and hold order. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the arrest order, and placed Nicole Osborn, of Rock Springs, under arrest. Officers transported Osborn to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 4:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on West Flaming Gorge Way. It was reported one vehicle was maneuvering around parked vehicles when the rear driver’s side of the vehicle made contact with the front passenger side of a second vehicle, which was parked and unoccupied. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 11:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of a barking dog complaint on West Flaming Gorge Way. Officers located the dog, made contact with the owner, advised of the complaint, and completed a report of the incident.

July 21

At 12 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in an altercation. The parties were separated, officers gathered information, and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 12:03 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Bridger Drive. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute. The parties were separated, and officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident. 

At 9:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision at Smith’s. Officers met with an individual who reported finding damage to their vehicle, which had been parked and unoccupied. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
