Knights slide in Powell tournament

The Green River Knights had a rough weekend while competing at the Powell Father's Day Tournament last weekend. The Knights were completely shut out when taking on the hosting team, losing 15-0 during the first day of competition.

The Green River team fared better against Lovell the following day, but came up short in a game ending 9-8 in Lovell's favor.

The Knights will have a chance to dust themselves off Saturday when they take on Evanston in a double header scheduled for noon and 2 p.m.

The Knights will have home field advantage playing at Stratton Myers Park.

According to Wyopreps.com, the Knights are currently sitting with a 12-17 overall record, with 2-0 in conference play. The AA Evanston Outlaws are listed with a 10-22 record, with 0-6 in conference play.
