Kaydrie Makay Jacobsen

Kaydrie Makay Jacobsen, age 19, passed away October 27, 2021, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was born February 14, 2002 in Price, Utah to Dirk and Gentry Jacobsen. She was the best Valentine's present and will always be our little sweetheart.

Kaydrie graduated from Rock Springs High School in 2020 where she excelled in and loved FLLA Academy. She particularly enjoyed being involved in the community service projects and learning about forensics.

All while growing up she loved basketball and had a special love for softball. She was especially talented at the catcher position. Judging by her size and age she was often underestimated by the opposing team, until they saw her strength and natural talent. She was Grandpa Garth's special hunting buddy. She had a special love for her great dane, Boomer, who was her protector.

Her stubbornness and strong will made her a loving and responsible girl. Because of that, a wonderful bond was created with her younger sisters. She was always willing to help and gave selflessly to others. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious giggle, and goofy personality.

She is survived by her parents Dirk and Gentry Jacobsen (Rock Springs, Wyoming); sisters, Jaisley Jacobsen and Braylee Jacobsen (Rock Springs, Wyoming); Grandparents, Kent (Julie) Wilson (Orangeville, Utah), Garth and Gayla Luke (Orangeville, Utah); Aunts and uncles, Kyle (Marcey) Wilson, Tanya (Jesse) Winn, Cassidy (Dallan) Blotter and Reman Jacobsen; 8 cousins; and Boyfriend, Layne Harsha. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents Lyle Anderson, Kean Luke, Boyd and Montez Jacobsen, and Buck and Peggy Raneer.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 10:00 – 10:45 am with the funeral to follow at 11:00 am at the Orangeville 1st ward church, 45 West 100 South Orangevillle, Utah.
