Richard Kit Deichmueller

Richard Kit Deichmueller, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Deichmueller died following a lengthy illness. He was a life-long resident of Green River, Wyoming.

He was born August 25, 1948 in Green River, Wyoming; the son of Arthur William Deichmueller and Dorothy Ilene Bingham Deichmueller.

He attended schools in Green River, Wyoming and was a 1967 graduate of the Green River High School.

Mr. Deichmueller married Linda Mae Urwin on January 20, 1970 in Evanston, Wyoming.

Richard served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 38 years and retired on August 1, 2008 as a Carman. One of Richard's favorite parts of working for Union Pacific Railroad was being the chef during derailments.

Richard enjoyed spending time with family; riding his purple Honda Trike; hunting; fishing and camping.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall #2350.

Survivors include his wife, Linda M. Deichmueller of Green River, Wyoming one son, Sean Michael Deichmueller of Green River; three daughters, Candy Larrain Torimino of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Tonya Manley and husband Rich Green River; Shana Morison and husband Mark of Green River; two brothers, Kenneth Deichmueller and wife Marion; of Green River; Robert Bruce Deichmueller and companion Ruthann of Green River; two sisters, Joyce Langford of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Beverly Mondragon and husband Alex of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren, Trinity Rocovits and husband Brock; Tylor Deichmueller; Phenix Foster and husband James; one great-grandson Maizyn Deichmueller; one aunt, Phyllis Bingham; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Arthur Deichmueller; two sisters, Priscilla Stine; Dorothy Finch; two nephews and one niece.

Cremation will take place; Private Family Services will be conducted.
