Tennis teams dominate 2 schools in Cheyenne

The Green River High School tennis teams saw continued success during a trip to Cheyenne over the weekend.

Both the boys and girls were undefeated after matches against Cheyenne South and only dropped one match against East. Central proved to be a difficult opponent for the Lady Wolves, sweeping them in all five matches. The boys’ success continued against Central’s team, with the Doubles 2 team being the only group to take a loss in the series.

The tennis team will compete at home this weekend for the 4A South Regional Championships. Matches start at 8 .m. Friday and Saturday.
