CFAC seeks quilts

The White Mountain Library is calling all quilters to display their creative quilting projects.

Quilters are invited to enter up to three quilted pieces each. Pieces can be anything from Wall Hangings to clothing and table runners. Pieces must be under 45”x60”. Quilts can be original or from patterns and must be appropriate for display.

There will be a two-page entry form, available at the library circulation desks as well as at the Community Fine Arts Center. The guidelines and additional information can be found on the entry forms. Participants are asked to drop off their entries at the library.

The guidelines were set by the exhibits committee of the Library System.

The exhibit will be displayed from Sept. 11 through Oct. 31 for the annual Sweetwater Quilters Open Exhibit. The deadline to submit entries will be Sept. 9 by 5 p.m. The show is open to all quilters in the county.

The Committee meets throughout the year to review applications and schedule exhibits. Artists interested in displaying their work are encouraged to submit applications. Application packets are available at the Community Fine Arts Center. The Committee is made up of three community members as well as three library system members.
